Portland Boudoir Photographer | ashley on film

This session, which was shot in my Portland studio,  was recently featured on Lace in Light's blog (click here to see that feature) and I'm excited to finally share it on my blog! Ashley looked amazing in her silk Layneau slip. The emerald green was divine with her red hair and that delicate black lace was perfection. This session was shot with a Canon EOS-3 and Fuji Pro 400h film. Processing and scanning was done by Photovision, which is located in Salem. Oregon.

Portland Boudoir Photographer | medium format film + freckled redhead

This session was recently featured on The Boudoir Collective and I'm so excited to finally share the images here, on my own blog. Shae is a gorgeous redhead with freckles, so photographing her was basically heaven for me. Shooting this session on film made it even more amazing.

Portland Boudoir Studio | so simple, but so detailed

Crystal is a fellow photographer in the Portland area and she was an absolute joy to photograph in my new studio! She brought with her some beautiful lingerie, adorable glasses, and some great jewelry. Add in a sparkly top from my boudoir wardrobe, a funky green chair,  and a vintage camera and it really sounds like an overwhelming amount of details. Nope. We shot these in the all white portion of my studio and kept everything else so simple that the focus was on the details and the personality that Crystal brought to the shoot.

Salem Boudoir Studio | Chanda on film

I loved working with Chanda. She is nearly 6ft tall, has amazing curves, striking features, and an amazing personality. She's confident, playful, funny, and hello, totally gorgeous. I chose film for Chanda's session because I thought it would suit her look and her personality. I was right. I love the look of these images, as they have sort of a film noir feel to them. I shot these in my natural light studio, using a vintage film camera (Bronica ETRS) and some Fuji Acros 100 film. Thank you to Photovision for doing a great job processing and scanning these for me!

Salem Boudoir Studio | confidence.

Confidence. It's the sexiest thing you can wear…and this beautiful mama wears it so beautifully. We had SO much fun doing this session in my studio. Yes, she's
stunningly beautiful and voluptuous, but it's her confidence that made her session
so easy and what makes her images sing. Shot with a combination of film, I am
absolutely in LOVE with these images.
In. love.

Salem Boudoir Studio | beautiful mama on film

I know I've already said this, but I'm loving the combination of color film and boudoir, in my studio. Most locations do not provide enough natural light for me to rock color images, but because my studio has two big windows and because the walls are all light colored, it totally works.

Makeup by Paloma Ortiz

This shot, right here, is my favorite from this gorgeous session.

Do I even need to say that my camera LOVES this beautiful woman?!
I mean, hello? Look at her!
I'll be shooting her wedding next month and cannot wait!

We had to do a few bridal inspired shots, since she's a soon-to-be bride!

For my fellow film geeks, these shots were taken with a Canon EOS-3 and some film. Yes, film. As in, I can't remember which film stock I used. If I had to guess, I'd say Portra 400, but I'm not sure. I suck at keeping track of my shoot details. Oops. I do know, though, that they were scanned by the FIND lab.

Salem Boudoir Photographer | introducing color!

In case you missed the announcement, I am now offering color boudoir images! If you're partial to black & white, you can still have an all b&w session, of course. If you'd like to mix in some color, though, you can do so when booking a studio session with me! Here is a super sexy sneak peek from a recent session.

Portland Boudoir Film Photographer . . . bridal sneak peek.

Just a little sneak peek of a boudoir session that I did for a bride-to-be.

For those interested, this shot was taken with a 35mm Canon Rebel,
50mm f/1.4 lens,  and Tri-X 400 (pushed one stop).
