I don't know if coffee gets any sexier than this.

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer | moody b&w session
Anyone who is familiar with my work knows that b&w is my true love.
I love the textures, the tones, the depth, the drama, all of it. I love how

moody b&w can feel. This in-home session was an absolute blast. Her home was
filled with gorgeous light, everyhwere I looked and we laughed a lot, despite how
serious these images look. This mom is not only a smokin' hot fitness competitor, but she
is seriously gorgeous. I mean, look at those eyes!!

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer | my friend on film
You may recognize my beautiful friend from a previous post. Her session was shot hybrid, meaning I used both digital and film cameras. The previous post showcased the digital images, while these are the film images. I love all of her images, but boy if the film images don't just sing to me.
Camera: Canon EOS-3
Film: Tmax 400
Lab: Photovision

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer | just book your session already!
This is my friend. She booked and paid for a boudoir session last year. LAST. YEAR.
Then put off booking her session. To lose weight. To get more organized. To get her personal
life in order. Blah, blah, blah. When her session fee was about to expire (yes, almost a whole year later), she asked if she could put it towards a photo shoot of her kids. I said no. Not because I'm mean or because I lack understanding, but because I knew she NEEDED this session. So, literally the last weekend before it expired, we did her session.
Without losing the weight, without getting organized, and without getting her
personal life 100% in order.

Her session was awesome, she loves the photos, and she feels GREAT about herself.
I'm sure you can imagine what she said, but I'll tell you anyway. She said, "OMG, why
didn't I do this sooner?!" So many clients say this after their session that I
just had to laugh when she said it.

So, the moral of the story is...If you've been thinking about a boudoir session, stop putting it off and just book it already! Who cares if you're not at your ideal weight or if your schedule is crazy. Just do it! You won't regret it. Plus, you can always book
another one when you have the perfect body and your life is
completely in order and no longer chaotic.

Portland Oregon Boudoir Photographer | elegant pink lace dress
I've said it before and I'll say it again... you do NOT have to wear lingerie or be nude for your boudoir session. I've taken boudoir portraits in women wearing dresses many times. It's all about the attitude. Sexy is sexy, regardless of your attire.
This particular dress is one in my collection for clients to wear during their sessions, so if you are interested, just let me know and I'll bring it with me to your session.
You may have seen these images recently at Whimsy Unveiled (click here to view that feature), but I thought I'd share them here on my blog too!
This session was a combination of digital and film, using a Canon 5DMII and a Canon EOS-3.
