Portland Boudoir Photographer | a little bit moody

I'm talking about the lighting, of course!
I love the combination of lighting, lace, ruffles, bows, stockings, and just smoking hotness in these shots. Don't be afraid to mix textures. I know that all of those things, together, sounds like a lot, but as you can see, they look great!

There are about two hours a day where the sun comes beaming into the west facing
windows of my studio. I've always heard that you want north facing windows in a studio.
I imagine this is the reason, but I absolutely LOVE this light. It's moody and
dramatic, plus I'm still able to shoot in other areas of the studio
during that time, where the light isn't harsh like this.

If you are interested in getting shots like this for your session, please let me know when you book so that we can schedule it for the appropriate time. If you're more interested in the "not-so-moody" look, that's okay too! Just tell me when you book your session. The great thing about my studio is that it is surprisingly versatile. I can do light and airy, dark and moody, and everything in between.

I'm also happy to give wardrobe advice and recommendations. Maybe you have some
problem areas you're concerned about? I can help you with that! Maybe you have
something you'd like to show off? I can help with that too. Perhaps you don't
want the pinup or "girly" look and need suggestions. Or maybe you're just at a total loss
as to what to wear, which I can also help with!
